Drone roof and building inspections
A look before you pay for access
A drone gets close to slates, flashing, gutters and stonework quickly, so you only pay for scaffolding or rope access when you know the work is needed.
Every elevation covered
We work methodically round the building, covering each roof slope and elevation, and label where every image was taken.
Images you can use
You get organised, high-resolution stills and video ready for your report, insurer, factor or contractor.
Drone first, rope access second
We've worked alongside AIM Rope Access. A drone survey first shows the access team exactly where they're needed.
Questions
Do you write the inspection report?
We capture and organise the images. We're not chartered surveyors, so the condition report itself should come from your surveyor or contractor. We're happy to send the images straight to them.
How close can the drone get?
Close enough to see individual slates, mortar joints and flashing. We set distances for each building with safety first.
Is it cheaper than scaffolding?
For a look at the condition of a roof, usually, because there's nothing to put up or take down. If repairs are needed you'll still need access, but you'll know exactly where.
Can you inspect tall or historic buildings?
Yes. Our footage of the 220-foot Wallace Monument shows the detail we can capture on tall, historic stonework.
