Who we are
Glasgow By Drone Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC840413). We are responsible for the personal details you share with us. You can contact us about privacy at info@glasgowbydrone.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number and information about your project.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, plan and deliver the work, and keep the records a business has to keep. We don’t sell your details or use them for marketing you haven’t asked for.
Where it is stored
Messages sent through the contact form are processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and then delivered to our email. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and for our business records, then delete them.
Cookies and embedded videos
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Some of our films are hosted on this site; the rest play from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain and only load when you press play. Once a YouTube video is playing, YouTube may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Our CoverDrone link
We are a CoverDrone ambassador. If you follow our link to get a drone insurance quote, CoverDrone can see that you came from us. Anything you then share with CoverDrone is handled under their own privacy policy.
Privacy when we fly
We plan flights to avoid filming people who aren’t part of a job, and we follow Civil Aviation Authority guidance on privacy. If you think we have filmed you and would like the footage reviewed or removed, email us and we’ll look into it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email us and we’ll respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
